Italia Bella

Italia Bella is small, independent, family-owned Italian cafe and delicatessen in Ashford, Middlesex. Having recently got on board with social media, they were in need of some images to represent themselves and the items they sell for their Facebook page.

I contacted them to offer my services and ended up visiting for a few hours to carry out a shoot. This included images of food such as cakes, pasta sauces, bakery goods and meats as well as hand crafted handbags, t-shirts and quirks of the cafe itself.

Issues I had with this shoot however included, various types of lighting in different places for particular foods. This meant I was constantly changing the white balance for different light sources and the shutter speed for the amount of light each gave off.
